Last year November I signed up for promotional cell c airtime contract which was run at jet sores country wide, I didn't have a problem for signing up because the agents informed that for one to qualify for the offer they must be an account holder for any of the edcon stores as the money will be deducted from the monthly instalment I will be paying for my account (edgars) & the contract will only be able to get terminated after April '13.
However, I only went to cancel at the beginning of June '13, but to my surprise the staff at the edgars cell phone department told me they don't have any info about the promotion and they gave me a call centre number & I called in call using one of the in-store customer phones.
when I phoned to the call the agent himself was useless &clueless on how to assist me, he told me I must leave my alternative number which is a rotten old call centre lie & they promised will call me back within 4days, which never happened.
I waited for the whole of June, July and even now august is about to end while Im still waiting response or at least the contract be cancelled. it has increased my instalment from around R200-R450 which I cant afford to pay!!!
