Went and spent over R10 000 on a 3 piece lounge suite thinking that my last one lasted 12 years, this one should at least do the same. Only to find that within six months two of the units the stitching is loose exposing the innards... much to my disappointment of course. So off I go to Furniture City in Brakpan where I purchased it and lodged a complaint. Only to find that they will collect my whole lounge suite and have it repaired but it will take up to four weeks to repair! Ok, so what are we going to sit on? they expect us to sit on the floor for that time! NO loan units at all! been waiting for the last 6 months for them to make a plan on which Sylvia (at the store) has exhausted all her avenues as to try and accommodate me in this regard. Nobody cares, actually I just want my money back so that I can go to a NON ELLERINES store and get myself a QUALITY unit. as they are not prepared to adhere to their motto: "Committed to delivering on our promises, we provide high quality service, innovation and value for money. Which is why South African consumers have come to love and trust our brand". What a lot of hog! I will be adding this to all major newspapers and tell everybody.
