Khaya the great poet once said "repetition breeds normality", his words ring true even to this day. I've complained about 2 weeks ago on this very platform about Pick 'n Pay Mini in the East of Pretoria, Olympus, regarding their somewhat nonchalant attitude towards promotional items being out of stock.
Sunday Times is running a national braai day promotion every Sunday (1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd). One the 1st I didn't get the fire starters (because they were under the impression that the promotion starts on the 8th), on the 8th I didn't get the Bic lighter (because the "supplier" didn't deliver), they did eventually get the stock and send me an email to offer me one, on the 15th I got my free 2l Coke, then... today I was given the same excuse I was given on the 8th when I asked where is the Charcoal that comes with the paper..."I'm sorry but they didn't deliver".
Like I've said, I'm dead sure that they knew about the promotion sometime in August and for them to give such excuses is really pathetic to say the least. I'll keep the profanities to myself because I don't know the whole story or who's to blame, but I thought they would have learned from the 8th mistake, I guess not.
