Getting charged extra for their mistake

I bought an expensive ring from Galaxy and asked them to resize and polish it and add extra silver to the bottom of the ring I paid 180 rand extra for the work to be done. On receiving the ring my wife wore it for an hour and the ring bended so badly that it looked like a cheap knock off. I inspected the ring myself and saw nothing has been done except for the resizing. I took the ring back to the shop they then told me to pay again this time R230 to do the exact same work I paid for the first time. I also phoned there head office to sort this problem out and I also send a detailed email but they did not even respond after promising me feedback in 24 to 48 hours I spoke to Kim Adriaanse at head office. I feel this is poor service from head office and Galaxy jewelers.
