Unable to down grade account

I have had an Edgar's account for man years, I've recently paid the balance. I want to down grade the account to a 6 month interest free. I went into the store, they told me it can't be done. I called the call centre, the first person I spoke to told me they need to check my credit score to down grade my account and proceeded to tell me I cannot down grade due to my score being less than 650. Which is incorrect my score is well over 800. She instructed me to email a copy of my score which I did. Then I called again and another gentle man told me I can't down grade my account, you don't offer 6 month accounts to existing customers only new customers?... I saw it advertised on TV.

Firstly, if my account doesn't get down graded I'm going to close it.
Secondly, does nobody there know what's going on?.. The inconsistency in information blows my mind

Please sort this out ASAP! I can't believe you would lose a customer over this!
