Finally I decided to try one more time to upgrade SMART??? account to a Cheque acct.
Upon looking again in their system was advised " system does not approve it, Grade 2 risk. Now personal banking is dictated by their high IQ " how can we help you" Hardwarer and Software"!!?? where have all the people gone??
Account is about 10 yrs old, has had aTHRU PUT OF OVER R 1.0 Mil. and bank branch under discussion had to contact original branch for information re grade 2 rating [Northgate].
The relevent person at that branch was away today but I could travel to Northgate tomorrow to see them and get an answer. Hey Randburg is in another country "didenukno" or maybe on another continent!!
I must at my own expense do this [70 odd km.].
Wow this amazing and crass to say the least. beware all other banks, writer is a GRADE 2 - Oh whats that? FNB peolple couldnt establish?
