I have never been treated so badly as a customer in my own right like I was at Edgars Sandton on the 18-09-2013. I was double charged on my gift card (teller's fault), I only realised this when I wanted to pay for my meal at a restaurant you can imagine the embarrassment when they told me the card is declining.
Went to Edgars Sandton and I was told that the money cannot be given to me in cash or reversed immediately into my card.
This frustrated me as I knew that I was going to use the money on the card to put petrol in my car. I took my time off coming to Edgars Sandton, used my resources and I was told by the lady Thembi that was assisting me that she will be fired if she would authorise R100.00 for me to go back home...
Well I must say that I did get stuck on my way home and had no cash with me, I had to be embarrassed again calling people to come get me as I had run out of fuel and I am not joking.
To show how serious I was I even asked staff members to borrow me R100.00 just to get home, I did not even have supper last night
no one in senior management could be contacted to authorise R100
