I went to Checkers in Canal Walk to return a pack of Lamb Chops that went off over the week-end. It took me 1 hour to receive a credit for the poor quality meat that Checkers sells. The Butchery Manager was quite helpful, I think the part of the entire experience that irritated me the most was the lack of information and not being kept informed by the staff involved.
Babalwa, the front end check out lady was exceptionally rude, she didn't greet, she was highly irritated, she didn't explain the process to me, she just left me standing in the store, not to mention the highly incompetent Assistant store manager that told me to go and look for the Butchery Manager at the back of the store. My question: How do these people become managers if they do not know the fundamentals of communicating with a customer?? They not even prepared to listen to a customer?? Babalwa walked off while I was speaking to her, she's utterly rude and should be put in a store room here she doesn't have to deal with customer queries because she clearly doesn't want to.. If you want people to believe your you guys are the 'Better', get the Better leaders that are willing to go the extra mile for your customers.
