I bought a shoe on sale, it was only R100.
But when returning home, I realized that this shoe was bought in a hurry, and when fitting o n the size four, realized that the shoe was way to big for my size four foot.
When taking this shoe back, the cashier at the Cape Town store started accusing me of wearing the shoe and that I stretched it out? She literally spoke to me asthough I was a beggar on the street.
I literally showed her my foot and compared it with the shoe! The shoe was way to big!
I was then told that there was nothing they could do and that I had to go to the Mr Price I bought it at.
I now needed to waste my petrol to drive from Cape Town to Vangate mall to go and change this shoe?
Now paying more than R100? How inconsiderate!
The pair of shoes now lay in the dirt bin as I can not wear them
I also reminded them of the 'damaged goods' policy of Mr Price, as these shoes where damaged as well. But they still wouldn't exchange it. Clearly, not sticking to policy.
