I went to the Pick & Pay Flora centre yesterday to buy a few goodies that I needed. I went to the cheese section where there were tubs of Kiri cheese at R17.99. I asked one of the staff that were passing by if that price was correct. She was however unsure and said she will call the manager, so the manager came and said that the price displayed was the incorrect price and that she cannot give it to me at that price and that I would have to pay the right price for the item. I asked regarding the consumer act and Pick & Pay's policy and she could not answer me and said that if I wanted the item I would have to pay the price. When I advised her that I would log a complaint on Hello Peter, she didn't even say two words and left. She then proceeded to take the price off the self and left. I am very disappointed in the way Pick & Pay treat their customers and feel that if this is the service that they are willing to give to their customers I would rather spend my money at your competitor.
