Just a few words on service at Makrostores.
Overall, my experience at the Milnerton and Cape Gate store have been a pleasure. The stores are neat, you're greeted in a friendly manner and staff know where things are. Here's a few examples:
1. I once arrived at the Milnerton store quite late and asked a chap that was rearranging the trollies outside what time the store was closing. To my surprise he promptly gave me the various opening and closing times for all the days of the week. How about that?
2. At the Cape Gate Store I was enquiring about laptops and was directed to (I think it was Sivusisu? They'll know). He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and could even provide information on after sales eventualities. At a later date, I purchased a Lenovo i5 from Fabio Thys who displayed the same knowledge and courtesy.
Now, that's how it should be. We should not be surprised by good service. Maybe there's a motto in there: "We should not be surprised by good service! "
