Entered the Beacon competition a week ago and received an SMS saying that Ive won and will be contacted in 72 hrs.. well needless to say nothing happened no missed calls whatsoever. But received another sms claiming that they tried contacting me and that I should dial the 0116767702 no. What a joke i didn't receive any calls or missed calls. Is this the marketing companies cheap way of not wanting to use their airtime to contact competition winners? 100 000 TELEPHONE CALLS TO BE MADE EXACTLY!!! From what I am reading here there are a number of similar complaints directed at this competition. How cheap of them. I wonder what Beacon has to say about the whole story? Because at the end of the day its their name being dragged through the mud!!!
