I won a beacon prize and received the following sms" Congrats from Beacon. You've won! You'll be contacted in 72hrs to claim your prize! " This was on the 3/09/2013. Subsequent to that without ever being called I received another sms with regard to the same competition they are running "Congratulations on your free Beacon Sweets reward. We have not been able to contact you. Please contact us on 0116767702 for your gift. Thank you" this was on the 7/09/2013 and the last sms received from them said the following on 11/09/2013 - "Apologies from Beacon. We haven't forgotten you. We're experiencing a back log on the Beacon sweets comp. You'll be contacted soon. Opt-out *120*159*1# Cost:20c"
To date (28/09/2013) they have never got back to me regarding my prize and this would clearly be in violation of my consumer rights as I have been mislead by this company and their competition.
