With Staff like this it is a wonder that JAYMEES MIDAS is still in opertation!
I bought a car battery last year from MIDAS and it was still under guarantee.
The problem wasn't even that the battery had packed up. That is why you have guarantees on these things.
The problem came when visiting the Midas store in Florida
I went to the counter and out of the six staff that were there, not one jumped to the opportunity to ask me if they could help me. They decided to rather chat amongst themselves. I needed my battery tested. About 10 minutes later a guy came out and tested my battery and confirmed that my battery was dead.
They then asked me for my slip (from a year ago) to validate my date of purchase, which I had misplaced. They said that they needed authorization from management who surprisingly wasnt there surely they mark the battery with a date of purchase to prevent etc. This is where customer service was in true lacking! I went to my car and tried starting it and it didn't thanks to my faulty battery!! I ask for assistance to get my car going. They just said they don't do this! They then proceeded to follow me out to watch me push my car by myself just to point & laugh
