The cashier went to the bathroom for almost 30minutes without even notifying people in the cue, while we were still waiting, we called the controller, controller` s name is Mavis Ramatlhape to complain about the cashier, Mavis was very very rude, She told us that, the cashier went to the bathroom, She doesn't understand why we are complaining, we cant expect the cashier to help herself while assisting us, she went on and said that she does not understand why we are complaining in a very rude way. Mavis the controller does not have managerial skills, Mavis undermines people, we expected that behaviour from the cashier not from someone who is in a management position, She should obtain more skill, so that she can be able to treat people with respect. After waiting for that long the cashier came and apparently she went to the bathroom not to help herself but to apply make-up, She did not even apologise or even acknowledge the fact that she went for 30 minutes without telling us what was happening. The very same bad service is becoming a culture for cashiers and controllers at Shoprite Ga-Rankuwa, that`s the same treatment we receive each and everyday we visit the store.
