Debt collection company SSDA harrasement

I had a Sportscene account more than 10 years ago which as far as I can recall was settled (I did since buy a car and open other credit)
A debt collecting company SSDA now insists that I must provide proof - more than 10 years later

Surely I would have known years ago that I owe any money to Sportscene

They are like pitbulls and don't listen to logic
