A tent was purchased from Makro. After checking all items it was found the 1 grafite pole was broken. It was returned/defect- This was all within a few days. Mr Vernon Chetty refused to give a refund and got exteremely rude and aggressive, acusing me of breaking it. He insisted that it be sent back to supplier and 21 days I would get a answer. I would then have to camp under a "Answer" as the trip is planned for next couple of days. How a "manager" can talk and treat any "Customer" in this manner is disgraceful and reflect badly on the company. I have been in business for 35 years and run a multi national company-NEVER have I been dealt with like this.! person can chase away a long standing -good- customer away due to there "Bad attitude" I NEVER WANT TO DEAL WITH MAKRO AGAIN. I would rather buy another product else where-and throw the money away than be treated like a animal by someone with a unacceptable attitude -In Management. What does that say about the organization.
