I bought Enterprise cold meat from Pick n Pay Northgate yesturday afternoon, 28 August. I went to make a sandwich for my lunch today and when I opened the pack of meat I am hit by the most revolting smell! Then I checked the date on the packaging, it had a best before date of 18 August!!! That is 10 days ago! Sure I should have checked the date on the product while I was there, but how can a product, especially meat, be on the shelf 10 days past it's expiry date??? This has got to go against some health laws I'm sure???
