I have been using Mac cosmetics for over 5 years & about 3 weeks ago, I went to the Mac cosmetic store, based inside Edgars in Sandton City. I waited for over 20 minutes for a consultant to assist. When I eventually was served, the consultant was rushing without listening to what I requested. She only gave me 1 item out of the 3 that I had requested. All this had taken over 30 minutes, so I settled for the 1 product. I needed to pay for the 1 item & all the consultants ignored me. A consultant was at the cash desk, however ignored me and proceeded with her phone call. At this stage, I was in the store for 40 minutes. I demanded to speak to the manager & was told it wasn't possible as they weren't in. This is totally unacceptable! Clearly they do not understand the concept of customer service & I will not stand to be treated in such a disgraceful manner again! I can easily switch over to a competitor brand, that will treated me with more respect as a consumer. Please note that this is not the first time that I have had such putrid customer service at the store. I'm shocked that something has not been done to improve this. I'm prepared to switch over to another brand unless this is rectified!
