I walked in truworths tygervalley on the 29th September asking the cosmetics consultant for a lip stick that lasts for 8-12hours. She then advised I try the stiller lip stain, I purchased the product while she was processing the sale I asked if I could return the item if I didn't use it, Her reply "yes of course". A week later I'm back to return the item. The same person assisted me and i asked her if I could return the item her reply "Did you use it? " Obviously I didn't hence the reason for returning it.
I then go to customer service where a gentleman informs me that they don't accept lip stick as returns for hygienic reasons. I then inform him that I asked and was told i could. He then informs me that she is not a Stiller consultant, he will get the consultant to see me. She then tells me the same story of which is not my problem as I was informed i could return it. They then decided that they will log a query for a manger to call. A lady called me on the 13/10/13 who is not a manager nor a stiller representative.
Truworths return policy-cosmetics and fragrances can only be returned to a store that stocks the brand.
