I have been a big fan of Zara for so many years BUT today I was DISGUSTED in them... My daughter got many birthday presents from Zara yesterday at her birthday party. I went to Sandton City Branch today to exchange 3 items, 2 items had a gift receipt and the 1 item had no gift receipt from friends but all tags on. A manager, Eddy told me in the rudest way "no receipt no exchange" and just walked off leaving me at the cash desk! I then waited another 15 min for another manager who told me I couldnt even swop it for the same item bigger size, not possible! My husband eventually had to intervene, being an attorney, that this was illegal against the CPA. Another manager Mathapelo confirmed the same story and explained those were the rules, so I agreed to take the matter further and get a credit so long. A final straw of disgrace was when this Mathapelo asked me for 2 Rand as they could only do vouchers in round numbers!! By that stage I was furious and told her I didnt have 2 rand, only to hear the cashier behind the desk who was processing my voucher swear at me in Sotho, which I actually understood!!! This is NOT acceptable and I will be taking this further and demanding so
