My name is Jacob Kgogwe one of the regular shopper at pink n pay Maponya. On the 4th of August 2013 I went for my monthly shopping, I made a payment of R989.30 for my grocery and the was problem with the till. I got a notification that the transaction of R989.30 went through on my cell phone however the supervisor on that day Harriet Buthelezi told me that it didn't go through. She suggested I make another purchase with my cheque card, I did and it went through. She advised me to wait for 48 hours, the first transaction will be reversed back into my account. I waited patiently and nothing happed. On the 6th of August I got a call from one of your employees asking if the transaction was reversed, I told her it didn't then she advised me to go to my bank to ask for a statement and come with it at pink n pay Maponya so that I get my money back. I complied and went on Thursday afternoon with my statement. I spoke to Harriet Buthelezi who referred me to Nondumiso Mazibuko who told me that the standard bank said I should wait for 12 days for this to be sorted. I didn't accept that, so asked to speak to her manager, and the nameof the manager that day was Sifiso Mbeze.
