On the 1st August 2013, I went to Woolworths in Wesgate, while I was busy looking for shoes, I realised that I was robbed of my phone, and I immediately told the lady in that department, and she immediately took me to the security, which called the control room to check the camera footage, but the person responded told the security that she is not going to rewind the camera, without stating any reason, I then went to the store manager, who told me that there is nothing they can do. When I reported to the security I believe the / were still in the store, because immediately after I had reported the incident the was a lady who came to reported that she was also robbed. I then asked the manager and later the customer care to warn other customers to look after their belongings, but that didn't happen, because I hung around the store for quite sometime. I'm really upset about this, because I'm wondering if its not an inside job. Why are they having the cameras, if they can't be used for such incidents.
