I walked into the shop at about 12:45 on a Saturday (without realizing the closing time of 13:00) and were happily helped by one of the friendly employees. At about 12:55 the owner/manger abruptly TOLD us to get to the tills. I was so shocked, and quickly got everything else I needed (I wish I had walked out at this point!!) because when I asked him why he let me in if I'm basically going to be kicked out, I was spoken to in the rudest manner ever! I was told that he had a good heart and was doing me a favour. I would have appreciated a kind reminder of their closing time in a gentle tone. I never knew you could be shouted at for supporting someone!!
