Yesterday i went into checkers, stood in a cue at the cigarette counter, when it was my turn to be served the cashier walked to the lotto machine to tell another lady the machine was out of order, leaned on the counter and carried on chatting away to the customer, while the customers waited.
Today I went in there again, and they had 2 tills open and Another 2 cashiers counting there floats, the cashier that served me, ask the one girl who had not opened to please open the customers were waiting, by this time she had already finished counting her float, and the girl just laughed and walked away.
The service in checkers Grahamstown is shocking, you have to wait for managers, or the staff sit and talk amongst each other instead of focusing on the customer in front of them, and when you ask for something you have to repeat yourself over and over., i think i should rather go to pick n pay from now onwards, even though its further to walk, it will be a lot quicke
