Part of lounge suite are not leathe

When intially bought the lounge suite the salesman pointed out that the cushion, backrest and armrest was genuine leather. I went to the store and reported in May, reported defect to the salesman that help me with the purchase, who was suppose to send somebody to pick up or assess the defects after many phone calls and days later I would have to phone and confirm the appointment, he then requested I taken pictures and emailed to him on the 28 May 2013 indicating what area was supposed be leather before agreeing to purchase the lounge set. After many weeks and phone calls and unkept appointments they finally visited on the 24 July 2013 to assess the defects which had gotten worse from time I first reported it. I then got a phone call from salesman requesting I would have pay for the repairs. Why must i pay for repairs when what I was told and what I purchased was supposed to be leather and is not? How can part of the cushion that supposed to be leather be cracking like plastic, I been very patient but even more so dissatisfied will level on service
