On Saturday 6th of July I bought my grandchildren shoes from Bata shoes, Hillcrest branch. On Monday the 8th of July I went back to the store and asked the lady if I could change the one pair for a bigger size. I had the box and the till slip. The lady said she didnt have a bigger size, I was then prepared to take something similar but she said she didnt have anything else in a pink. I therefore asked for a refund- she replied "we do not give refunds on sale items". I informed her that I was not made aware of this when purchasing the items and nor was there signs in the store to inform me as the customer. She very rudely replied "Read your till slip".
I have on numerous occasions been to your other branchs eg: pavilion, pinecrest and crompton street but could not find a pink pair or similar to what I had purchased.
Eventually on Tuesday 30th of July I phoned your Head Office and spoke to Debbie, who I was told was the Area Manager. I told her my story and she asked me for the article number on my till slip which I gave to her over the phone. She informed me she would look into it and call me back in an hour. Till this day, the 5th august, I still have not heard from her.
