In February I went into Bata at Bluff Towers on the Bluff. I purchased a pair of shoes for R300 which I wore once. While in JHB I took the shoes out to wear them for a second time only to find that the buckle broke when I tried to fasten it. I was unable to get the shoes back to Bata due to time constraints. I went back into the store a week ago to speak to the sales person who said not to worry bring the shoes back for a refund. I purchased another pair of shoes in the interim believing that I would have the opportunity to bring the shoes back. Those shoes also broke at the buckle. Walking into the store today I was "greeted" by another sales person, Yvonne who claims to be the manager. She "politely" walked past & told me to wait at the counter while she walked off to do something. She then made her way to the till & I explained my story to her. She huffed and puffed about the fact that she hates working weekends because she has to deal with customers like me who need refunds. She told me she does not care what the other sales lady said she isnt giving me my money back. I moaned & she mumbled under her breathe. She gave me money back for the R150 pair but told me I can wont get the R300 back
