Poor after sales service on warranty matte

We purchased a mattress in Dec 2010 - Chiro King super sleep with a 10 year warranty. recently noticed that the mattress was lumpy and lodged the issue with Attie at beds for africa, boksburg. Attie arrange for the manufacturers to come in an assess the bed. The Assessor told us that the mattress was lumpy however there was a stain on it and we may be required to "pay something" before the mattress could be repaced. On our follow up we were told by the manufacturer represented by Desire that as there was a stain the warranty fell away and we should pay R1, 250 for a new mattress and make contact with beds for africa. tried calling beds for africa on 011 8263605 over 5 times today with no answer on that number. Apparently is was beds for africa's responsibility to advise the client on how the manufacturers warranty and guarantee works. I can confirm that we did not receive this information when we made our purchase. Sona & Adel Pillay
