I went to Stuttafords about a month ago because they had a sale which offered 25, 35 and 50% off on mens and womens clothing. I found a pair of shorts I was interested in which were going for R699 less 35% which came to R499. I just happened to see the original price sticker, which was R499. What they had done was to inflate the price to R 699 and then offer a so called discount of 35% which brought the price back to the original retail price of R499. This was no sale, it was a rip off and can only be catergorized as. I then decided to look around the store at other pricing and found the same on everything offered, from 25, 35 to 50%. All inflated and then brought back to the original retails price. Needless to say I left the store and will never shop there again! When I got home I sent them an email with all of this info and copied in The Daily News!! I am still to get a response from Stuttafords??? Obviously the truth hurts and they wish I would go away!!!
