I bought 3 items on the same day, 3 different accounts were opened. I pay via EFT and requested what reference must be used, I was told my id number. The accounts division picked up the payment and allocated it to 1 X account leaving a massive credit there and the other 2 X accounts non paid. I have been receiving an average of 6 calls and 8 sms's per day from a contracted company that mans the call centre for the last 3 months. The Primrose branch - Marinda has requested via the computer system for the accounts division to correct the allocations but nothing has happened. I have phoned the Head Office in JHB who just told me to phone Cape Town on a certain number. I'm still waiting for them to answer their phones. Is it my imagination that quality and pride in workmanship have gone down the toilet/drain and employees out there have jobs they are not qualified to do but are earning the salary to go with the title so they don't care. I have been buying from Russells over the last 15 years and have always been treated courteously until the last 2 years. Who knows perhaps due to the incompetence of the employees I may be black listed --- so my advice is DON'T EVER BUY FROM RUSSELLS
