I have just applied for vehicle finance which was declined due to Russells listing me on ITC for "late payments".
6 months ago I sat in the branch managers office discussing the fact that Russells acoounts department continuously contact me for non- payment.
I was told by the branch manager that they have changed onto a new system and the old & new systems are not "talking" to one another and that further he doesn't know what else to say.
During the last 6 months this has been an on going problem and the "outbound call centre" still continuously calls regardng outstading payments. I have been told by the "outbound call center" that the payments are reflecting, however they have been allocated to only 1 of the accounts & this would be corrected.
Clearly this is still not done & the 1 account is showing in credit and the other in arrears. This is completely pathetic. Due to the incompetance of Russells accounts department my vehicle finance has been declined.
I told the branch manager, should this happen I will sue Russells and hold them legally liable. Russells will now cough up R310000 to pay for my new vehicle - I will NOT accept anything else but a new car!!!
