Late Payment Fee

My mother has had an Edgars account for over 35 years, and has NEVER been in arrears, or paid late. Last month, she was overseas and only paid the account on the 8th July - a week late. (Late for FIRST time).
She received an SMS on the 10th July stating that she should immediately pay the account (already paid).

She recevied her new statement yesterday and it has a "Late Charge Assessment" of R62.01 reflected on it. This on a balance of only R3000!

As a loyal customer who has never defaulted before, she expects this late payment fee to be retracted.
