If Pick n Pay is unable to get their local stores to co-operate with their advertised "service" of drawing cash at till points, they should stop this service completely.
I often draw cash at various Pick n Pays in Centurion when I am buying groceries, and am constantly made to feel like an irritation and a criminal. Then to find a till that actually has 'enough cash' to supply my obviously outrageous request is a large drama, with supervisors shouting out across the shop asking how much money is in each till. Talk about a security risk, not to mention that the tills are usually stuffed with more than enough notes to supply the request. And heaven forbid I try to ask for the denominations that you would like! Then all breaks loose. It seems staff have been given instructions to never part with any notes smaller than R100.
So, fix the attitude and procedure or can the service. The Checkers in Centurion (all of them) are much more pleasant to shop at, very little bad attitude there.
