I visited the Truworths store in Sandton City today. I was greeted to the sound of drilling and construction noises - on a Sunday!! It was extremely distracting and I couldn't have asked for assistance even if I could find someone to help me. I spent R4 500 at Truworths, without having one person assist me or even ask to assist me. I had to ask 5 different people milling around if I could get a size 6 shoe in the style I wanted. They were all staff, and seems to be shopping for themselves! I then went to the Elements department to get some Clinique make up. There was nobody there, and the lady at Este Lauder ignored me when I asked for help. I found what I needed, and proceeded to the till. I had to ask the security there to find anyone who could help me pay. She came around the corner, rolling her eyes. She did not even greet me and when I asked if I could get commission since I had to help myself, she sighed and rolled her eyes. She did not greet me at all or say one single word throughout the transaction. Extremely bad service and I'm actually so upset that I'm thinking about takng back every single item!!!
