I don't remember day, but it was after 2pm when on my way home my mom and I stopped off at shoprite in wynberg. In front of their bakery department my mom slipped on a fried hot chip and nearly fell. We called for assistance on put in the complaint. Some senior staff came forward and the branch manager who barely looked at my mom said he doesn't see anything on the floor but she can go to the doctor and bill the store. We didn't have that kind of cash to go to the doctor and the store then said it was out of their hands.By this time my mom was in quite a bit of pain. They couldn't even take her home. She has logged a complaint on hellopeter but has still received no call or feedback. I helped my mom get better but there is only so much I can do as she lives alone. I will not leave them to get away with this. They owe my mom and I will ensure they pay. I will speak to the papers about this and get a response that way if hellopeter can't help
