On 18/7/13 I bought coffee clearly marked on promotion at R69 on getting home I found I had been charged R83 for this, immediately phoned store to report. I was told I could come to the kiosk for a refund the next day and asked assistant to check that the price was rectified on the system so other customers where not also inconvenienced. Upon returning to store the next day, noone seemed aware of the problem and I was treated to a humiliating display of mangers trying to prove me wrong. Eventually, I found the shelf from which I had bought the coffee where the label clearly stated the price (also misleading price of pencils I had bought). When I told manager I wasnt happy with the way matter had been handled and would be reporting it, he shrugged and said the outcome would be the same as it would just come bk to him. I received refund after much distress. Manager is unaware of layout and pricing in small store and handled matter v badly. Very disappointed customer who would like to caution other customers to be diligent at check out. Do not want to be contacted by scott store manager and feel checkers should select mangers more carefully.
