2nd Hand Car Sale Gone Bad

I bought a 2005 Opel Corsa 1.7 Dti in March 2013 from Bakwena. Firstly I was charged - R2000 for License, Registration and Roadworthy, which I decided against because doing it myself would be cheaper. I had to replace 2 tyres to get the roadworthy certificate and balancing and alignment was done by Tyre Mart Autowiel Centurion West. A couple of weeks later the EPS light came on. I phoned Kobus and he took the car to have a look at. One of his mechanics "fixed" the rack and I was told by Kobus that the people who did the tyres shook the car too much and that caused the EPS to malfunction. Well, the warning light stayed off for about 2 weeks and it came on again. I had the Corsa at a Service Centre in Boksburg where I was told that the steering needed to be replaced!!! Bad service from Bakwena as Kobus told me he will not stand for any damage or defects anymore as I declined him putting the car on the road and therefore the problem is mine. According to the Consumer Protection Act when purchasing a 2nd hand vehicle I have six months to have defects repaired / vehicle replaced / full refund. Please - avoid doing business with Bike Solutions & Bakwena Sales, Karenpark
