Complaint / review / scam report
I bought a vehicle from this dealership in November 2012, i told the sale person at the time i got a company vehicle so i will be using the car minimal. In december 2012 i was making a trip to jhb so i took the car for wheel alignment, i was informed at the alignment centre that there is a couple things that need to be replaced, i.e brake pads, rack ends and wheel bearings, not forgetting to mention the TYRES needed replacing, under 1mm legal mark. the alignment centre told me i will be able to go to jhb bt be carefull and repair it ASAP.when i gt back from i the car back to the dealer. All he said is that the car went for AA roadworthy and nothing will be paid for. it eventually cost me over R3000, excluding the tyres to repair.i still have all the parts replaced. The salesman said the car went for AA roadwotrhy but i dont see any AA roadworthy certified sticker on the windscreen. i feel i have been ripped off!!! I want to know what does the Consumer protection act protect me against???? do i have a valid case or will i be wasting my time????
