I went to Spar Starwood at about 8.30 on 16 July 2013 to quickly purchase a few items, my debit card was swiped by the teller, I keyed in my pin and my purchase was authorised, at the same time his computer froze, he then called in the manager who insisted my transaction did not go through, i had to wait half an hour to be told this and had my card reswiped, the manager told me if I had a problem to bring in my bank stmt and I would be refunded. the same afternoon i checked my stmt and saw that I was debited twice, i called Spar and the manager on duty told me to come in with the stmt the next morning for a refund. i drive there only to be told there are procedures i need to follow which should take about 7 working days. i insisted i wanted my money only to be kept waiting another half hour while "they checked their bank statement". the managers promised to call me during the day to let me know, I waited the entire day on day 2. the liars did not call. i foned at around 6 and had to speak to various other "managers" who gave me the run around and was promised that it it would sorted by 8.30 this morning.its now 1.30, no call. I WANT MY MONEY, and money for fuel and calls!
