I purchased a DEFY washing machine, from the first time using it I noticed that the water in the spin dryer does not drain, when loading water into the washer, the water then fills in the spin..I thought that I might be using the machine incorrectly and referred back to the user manual and to my surprise I have done everything as per the instruction, I decided to try it one more time before querying it and it done the exact same thing-the spin dryer stays filled with water and does not spin dry the washing. A technician came out and advised that the motor/spin needs to be replaced WHY DO NEW PARTS NEED TO BE FITTED INTO A BRAND NEW WASHING MACHINE? I then called DEFY myself and was transferred from pillar to post, spoke to 4 different people and was promised a call back. I am now being told that they first have to do an assessment to see if the product was not damaged due to negligence? Why would anyone in their right mind try to break or damage property that was bought CASH with their hard earned money? I am experiencing the exact same problem with a hobb that keeps breaking which was bought 2 months ago... IF I WANTED 2ND HAND GOODS I WOULD HAVE WENT TO A PAWN SHOP!!!
