Inspection Document not sent through to Insurance

After inspection i asked the attendant if they will be sending the document through to my insurance company.

I was assured that they will do it and that i do not have to email it or worry about it.

Needless to say i just called my insurance company and i am only covered for 3rd party accidents (for last 2 months) as the document never reached them.

I now have to find the document somewhere or redo an inspection...
