Card reactivating

In May I applied for debt therapy but cancelled on the 18th of June 2013, I made a payment of R7000.00 at Jet Mart at Eloff street in Johannesburg on the 20th of June 2013. Corresponce regarding the cancellation was sent to Jet's dept cancelling department but my card is still blocked. I was so humiliated the other day when I went to Edgars at South gate and I was told that my card is block. The cashier didn't even do anything to assist unblock the card. I've been trying to call 011 498 9287 and the phone just rings with no answer.
