I recently tried the pick n pay online shopping for the first time. I understand that goods out of stock have to be substituted with similar products, but the substitutions made on my list were by far unacceptable!! First of all, how is it possible for Pick n Pay to be out of stock of Lemons?! These were substituted with naartijes, seriously?! I am on a strict eating plan and specifically ordered fresh mushrooms and lean bacon, but I was given mushrooms in brine and normal back bacon. Both of which I have to throw or give away now. I ordered med-lemon which was on special but received the normal pack. Furthermore, I was given a substitute to make up the total price of my payment and wasn't even given the proper product. This experience was so disappointing. Never will I purchase products from Pick n Pay online shopping again or do I want to support them any longer. I'll be sure to tell my friends and family to do the same.
