I called the Truworths call center today to request proof that i DONT have an account with them. They never removed my account from a credit bareau that shows i still pay an amount of R1600 a month to them. I closed that account in 2009, now when applying for credit it came up.
I need confirmation from them that i no longer owe them and they refuse to give that to me, the manager lady at the credit control was so rude as to even drop the phone on me. what a way to treat your clients, clearly i should never even bother re-opening that account. Someone needs to give that lady training on how to treat a client first of all and secondly Truworths need to give me a letter that i have paid them over.
They want me to go to experian and get them proof, what will they do then once i get the proof they cant do now? why must i go get the proof? i clearly dont owe them, why cant they just put that down in writing...
Why must i go to the trouble, they are supposed to make sure the information they give to credit bereaus is correct, not me. This should not me my problem and if i dont owe you, why cant you put it down in writing?
