I recieved an sms telling me lawyers have submited a notice of non-payment to XDS because I did not reply to an sms sent about my Truworths account. Firstly, I have not received ANY form of communication from Truworths since 2007. Secondly, I don't know why my account is in arrears when I closed it in 2009. Thirdly, in August last year I found out I had a negative balance with the credit bureau because of this account even though I closed and have not used it. I went to Truworths to sort this matter out however several truworths staff at different truworths branches claimed they could not help me as my account was long closed and I dont appear on the system.

So you can imagine my frustration and irritation now when I get this absurd sms telling me my account has been handed over despite numerous attempts on my behalf to get information on this account to find out why I was listed. Why is truworths only contacting me now in 2013 to tell me my account has been handed over when they have been silent for close to 6 years? Why am I listed when the Truworths staff couldnt help me AND failed to contact me until now?
Truworth's handling of this matter is UNACCEPTABLE!!
