I had occasion to be in the Shoprite store in Wynberg on Saturday and had a frustrating encounter with a till operator. On bringing this problem to the attention of management it was immediately attended to in my presence. I was taken seriously and treated with dignity by the management team who took the offending staff member to task. Accolades to Shoprite - what could have been a complaint became a compliment.
