I used the money transfer system at Pick 'n Pay strand street, Cape town, The service there was efficient.
I had transfered the money for my mother to receive the money from the Family store Pick n Pay in Gordons Bay. When my mother got to the Pick n Pay Family store (Gordons Bay) she was told that Pick 'n Pay had changed the system to Mobile money, therefore the transfer done, needs to be reversed and reprocessed through this new system. When I demanded to speak to the manager to find an alternate solution for my mother to receive the money, as my notion was that this has caused a big inconvienence for us (customers), as I was at work and couldnt go back to redo (as advised by the shop assistant). The manager then had a bad atitude and said there is nothing he can do, with a seriouse lack of atone to this matter. I probed further as to when the system was implemented because I couldnt understand how the Strand street store is still using an "old" system, only then to be told that actually its his (Store owner) money transfer machine that is not working, this Mobile money is not actually in place. The owner to me and was arrogant about it. This kind of service is dismal
