Yesterday I purchased my lunch at Pick 'n Pay - Strand Street and am appalled by the food which I was served. My cashier was Shameegah Jasman.
I purchased hot chips, 2 leg quarters and vegetables of the day. The chicken and chips were fairly acceptable but the julienne carrots and green beans were dismal, awful and pathetic. They tasted like someone had poured a gallon of vinegar on them but that alone did not hide the rotten taste. They were mushy and tasted off. I am highly upset and annoyed by this level of service delivery. How can any shop let alone a big store such as Pick 'n Pay serve/sell such pathetic food. Stop taking your customers for granted. We work for our money and deserve to get our money's worth on our purchases.
