I opened an Edgars account on Fri 21 June. Ordered Samsung tablet on promo. Delivery date says 2-3 working days.
I left for holiday in Caledon. I call the Call Centre (CC) to inform them of change of delivery address to the Caledon address. I thought, Edgars is a big company, and they should have a solid communication system in place and i did not want them to deliver to an address if there was nobody at home.
BIG MISTAKE! I left Caledon on Monday 24th. I contacted the CC to inform them that I would be at home later in the afternoon and to change the delivery address. Someone from the CC called me back to confirm change of address.
The Courier contacted me on Tuesday 25th to estrablish WHERE IN CALEDON i was. I informed the courier that I had arranged change of address on the Monday and asked him if the were not informed. He could not explain. I contacted the CC on Tuesday and was informed that someone would call me back. No return call. I spoke to Kristin at the CC on Wednesday 26th. Delivery for 27th was confirmed. I requested confirmation of delivery address. Was promised a return call. NOTHING! Called again on Friday. Got a ref. number which meant nothing. Nobody cd track it.
